Best epub reader for android reddit4/30/2023 Idiom also provides translations and auto-playback for youtube videos played in the app, so its nice for target language subtitle reading. I haven't explored Idiom's flashcard options, but I know Pleco imports into Anki (and has its own built in SRS flashcard system too if desired). So features are built into them already to support the tasks you might want for language learning. Both apps are specifically for reading in a language you're learning, and saving words for later, listening to generated-audio, looking up definitions and translations. Which are the best open-source epub-reader projects This list will help you: Kavita, FolioReader-Android, epr, thorium-reader, obsidian-annotator. I also really like Idiom app for specifically reading for language learning, and Pleco specifically for reading in Chinese. I wish I didn't have to manually switch it each time. Kindle and Moonreader+ both seem to require me to change my phone's generated-audio language to whatever language I'm reading (then I have to change again when I switch to reading in a new language). Moonreader+ really does the most of everything I want. I use kindle for the ebooks I buy on amazon in japanese, and it has a really good multi-language dictionary. I like Moonreader's generated audio feature, and it also has a fairly good dictionary tool (but I had to do more work to set it up). Now I have android, and Kindle and Moonreader+ are what I use. I did not have to ever mess with my phone's default language or default audio language to get the dictionary or generated audio to work. It was really nice for what I wanted to use it for. It also had a built in multi-language dictionary, which worked with epubs and pdfs. It was free, and had a generated audio feature to read any text out loud in any language. I used to have an iphone, and I really liked Kybook Reader.
