Android studio sdk path mac5/7/2023 The language used for this will not matter as this process will be the same for both java as well as Kotlin. export ANDROIDHOME/usr/local/opt/android-sdk export PATHPATH:ANDROIDHOME/tools:ANDROIDHOME/. The problem is I can't find the Android SDK on my machine! I assume it's there because otherwise the program wouldn't compile and run through Android Studio? Perhaps that's a bad assumption? I'm new to Macs (I'm used to Windows) so I don't know the best way to search for the Android SDK. Step 1: Create a new Project in Android Studio Navigate to the File > New > New Project and create your new project. MAC: Find the ADB executable in /Library/Android/sdk/platform-tools. Earlier versions of Android Studio have it in LOCALDATAAndroidsdkplatform-tools instead. Make sure the Android SDK platform-tools/ directory is included in your PATH environment variable, then execute: WINDOWS: In the current version of Android Studio, ADB.exe is located in USERPROFILEAppDataLocalAndroidsdkplatform-tools. All I want to do now is be able to build the app and install it on device from the command line as opposed to Android Studio. Navigate to the bin folder in the location where you unzipped the tools folder: install folder > tools > bin. Unzip the downloaded file to a location on your hard drive. I have installed Android Studio on my MacBook Air (OS Version 10.11 El Capitan) and have successfully written a small "hello, world" app and installed on device (Nexus 7) and ran on AVD. To install an Android platform SDK and the associated tools: Download the Android Software command line tool.
